More Fatalities Involving Self-Driving Technology

Last month Uber halted all testing of its self-driving vehicles across North America after a pedestrian was killed in Arizona, however, Uber has already stated the accident will not affect its development of autonomous technology.  The wrongful death claim involving Uber, along with others, such as the recent fatality in California linked to Tesla’s autopilot system illustrate the inevitable shift of injury litigation from individual negligence further into the realm of products liability.
